HELLO THERE!
Hi, I’m Lee Button — a plumber and photographer from Bedfordshire, U.K., and someone who’s happiest with either a wrench or a camera in hand.
I fell into photography in 2018, just out of curiosity, but it quickly became something much more meaningful. By 2019, I found myself genuinely driven to improve, experiment, and share what I was creating. The support I received from family, friends, and fellow photographers meant a lot and gave me the confidence to keep pushing forward in my journey.
For more than 13 years, I’ve worked as a plumber at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo — a place that has shaped both my work life and my creative life. Being surrounded by incredible animals, open landscapes and a brilliant team has given me constant inspiration. I’ve been fortunate to photograph everything from quiet moments around the park to new-born animals for the ZSL press team, and those experiences continue to shape my style as a nature photographer.
I’m always learning. Whether it’s refining my camera work or improving my editing, there’s something new to discover every day — and that’s what keeps photography exciting for me. I love chatting with others who share the same passion, so if you ever want to talk photography, ask a question, or share a tip, I’m always happy to connect.
If you’d like to see more of my work, I’d truly appreciate your support on social media — every like or comment genuinely helps my photography reach new people.
